We fell in love with wine ourselves after seeing how food and wine can bring people closer together. My sister, Shaunna, worked in an Italian restaurant, and I went travelling abroad tasting some of the some of the best wines in Spain and South Africa. Eager to expand our knowledge, we decided to get certified as sommeliers. From there, it wasn’t long before we started our own business to share our passion.

Now, we’re sharing our expertise with you online! Even if your team is working form home, we can tailor a unique experience that you’ll love. In just a few simple steps we’ll get you set up for a delightful and delicious afternoon of wine.

1. Choose a Class

We will select a collection of wines based on the class you decide to purchase. If none of them speak to you, the we can also do a custom class if you’re a wine connoisseur yourself and would like to create your own personal tasting.

For anyone not interested in wine, we can also other non-alcoholic alternatives. Plus, we will suggest cheese and snack pairings to go with the wines and enhance the tasting experience.

2. Pop the Bottle

If you’re worried about picking up the wine, then we’ve got it covered. We work with our distributor and partner, Birdie Wine Co, to ship wines directly to your employees’ home. Everyone will get to taste up to 4 wines and learn how to distinguish between them.

Of course, your safety is also our top priority. A secure link is sent to order the wines directly from the website so no one’s personal information is at risk.

3. Sip and Enjoy

After the wine’s arrive, Wine Spencer provides a Zoom link or your preferred virtual platform for all to attend. Our tasting includes tons of fun wine trivia. We share facts about wine making process, knowledge about popular wine regions, and tips for how to evaluate wine like a sommelier.

We guide you through the tasting notes of each wine and teach you how to judge the wine with 5 S’s—See, Swirl, Sniff, Sip and Savor!
